Heidelberg Technology Park and IIT University Technology Park Announce New Partnership to Promote Bio-Company Matchmaking
April 23, 2013Heidelberg Technology Park (HTP) CEO André Domin and David Baker, Executive Director of the University Technology Park at Illinois Institute of Technology this week unveiled a new partnering program designed to promote the success of bio-companies in their respective parks and clusters. -
Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Cho Shih-chao will visit the US in April to introduce Taiwan’s industrial development and personnel needs in meetings with businesses and professionals, including a visit to IIT, Taiwan Today reports.

IIT University Technology Park Director Daniel Marselle penned a letter to Crain’s Chicago Business, pointing out that most successful technology startups are started by people in their late thirties, noting that many companies at UTP were founded by serial entrepreneurs and describing the ways in which the park helps startups succeed.

October 29, 2012Landmarks Illinois and the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation honored IIT University Technology Park's Incubator South and Technology Business Center with a Preservation Award for Adaptive Use at the awards ceremony on October 27. The annual Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Awards ceremony recognizes individuals, organizations, projects and programs from across the state of Illinois, whose work demonstrates a commitment to excellence in historic preservation. -
Book Fair at University Tech Park
October 26, 2012A "Books Are Fun" book fair hosted by the IIT Research Institute will be held in the University Tech Park Atrium on Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31 from 11:00 am–4:00 pm. The fair will offer many books and gifts at great prices—just in time for the holidays! -

Pritzker Institute Seminar: Mechanical Instability and Tortuosity of Arteries
