    You are invited to "Unforgotten Women: Keeping Legacies Alive through Stories," an event that recognizes the power of artistic creation to document, share and celebrate the stories of the countless women who have been under-recognized for their contributions. Writer Mairead Case, filmmaker Melina Kolb and interdisciplinary artist Saleem Hue Penny highlight three women whose lives and work deserve to be known and remembered.     Young Alumnae Panel Discussion

    Celebrate Women's History Month by attending a young alumnae panel! Three recent graduates—Stephanie Salem (BA ’11), Kathryn Weissman (CE ’10) and Melissa Hadhazy (ARCH ’05)—will discuss how IIT launched their careers and provide useful advice for current students in this Q&A panel discussion. The event will be held on Thursday, March 14th from 1:00–1:45 pm in the MTCC Ballroom. A free lunch will be provided to all attendees! The panel is sponsored by the IIT Alumni Association.

    Humanities Department Hosts Women’s History Month Open House March 28

    On Wednesday, March 28 the Humanities Department will host a Women's History Open House Event in the Siegel Hall, room 218 (conference room) from 3 - 4:45 pm. Everyone is welcome: students, staff, faculty, and all genders. There will be food, good conversation, and handouts on women's history resources, including a pocket timeline of interesting events in women's history put together by Humanities faculty.

    IIT Celebrates Women’s History Month

    The Office of Campus Life will kick off a month-long celebration of Women's History Month, themed "Mind, Body and Health." Every week in March, Campus Life, along with Active Minds, Feminist’s United, Lights, Camera, Action Movie Club, the IIT Office of Spiritual Life and Service Learning and the Student Health and Wellness Center, will be featuring events around the theme of mind, body and health.
