One Earth Film Festival Screens ‘Common Ground’ at Galvin Tower on Earth Day
March 28, 2024Register and join the Office of Community Affairs, Master of Landscape Architecture + Urbanism, Department of Environment, Organic Oneness, Bronzeville Black Metropolis National Heritage Area, Bronzeville Winery, One Earth Film Festival, and others as we celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. in Schulz Auditorium at Michael Paul Galvin Tower. We will screen the film Common Ground, which unveils a dark web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system. -

Department of Applied Mathematics Remembers Karl Menger With Keynote Lecture and More Events
March 26, 2024Join the Illinois Tech Applied Math Department as we honor the legacy of Karl Menger. The Menger Day Celebration will be held April 8-9, 2024, at the Mies Campus. Karl Menger was a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at Illinois Tech from 1946 to 1971, who influenced many students, fellow faculty members, and friends during his lifetime. Regarded as one of the finest mathematicians of the twentieth century, he made significant contributions to the fields of dimension theory, probability, economics, ethics, geometry, and calculus. -
