Orientation Registration opens April 22, 2013. Students may register through the myIIT portal.

- Session I: June 24 - June 25
- Session II: July 1 - July 2
- Session IIIA: July 12 - July 13
- Session V: July 23 – July 24
- Session VI: August 12 - August 13 (please note that housing is not provided unless a student has a housing contract)
Registration

Overnight Stay
Students attending Orientation stay in the on campus residence hall State Street Village. State Street Village is comprised of two interconnected residence halls. Each serves as a social center and study hall. All freshmen not residing with their families are required to live in IIT campus housing. Staying overnight on campus is a great opportunity to gain a perspective of what on-campus living is like and what you may want to bring in the Fall! Do not forget to pack sheets or a sleeping bag and toiletries!
Please note that if you are planning on attending Session VI: August 12-13 orientation, Residence and Greek Life will only provide housing to students who have a housing contract.
Travel Accommodations
If you live far away and are planning to fly in the day before you can purchase an extra night in the orientation residence rooms for $50. You can do this when you register for orientation. When you arrive for your stay you will check in at McCormick Student Village.

IIT Stuart School of Business Priority Registration Days
10 a.m.-1 p.m., Hermann Hall Expo
Come to campus early during Priority Registration Days for the following:
- Register for and complete Professional Communication Advancement (PCA) testing
- Register for and participate in a Group Academic Advising Session (sign up is required)
- Complete the Online Advising Orientation (if you have not done so already)
International students only:
- Go to the International Center to get the hold on your account removed.
- Register for classes (if you have not done so already)
If you have questions that were not answered by the Online Academic Advising Orientation regarding class registration, Academic Advisors will also be available during Priority Registration. For more info, contact advising@stuart.iit.edu.

Stuart Graduate Orientation

New Graduate Student Advising Event (optional)
10 a.m. to 12 noon, Hermann Hall
Join faculty and academic advisors from Armour College of Engineering, College of Science, Lewis College of Human
Sciences, School of Applied Technology, and Stuart School of Business as you select courses for the Fall semester. Staff from the Registrar’s Office and Graduate Admission will also be available to assist you with registration and final admission questions. Not all academic departments participate in the Advising Event; you will be notified by email if your department will not attend. All domestic and international graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend; continental breakfast will be served.

Luggage Storage
Complimentary luggage storage will be offered to new students August 12-23, 2013, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in the MTCC. Learn more.
Temporary Housing
Beginning July 2, 2013, Residence and Greek Life will accept short term housing reservation requests for Fall 2013. Reservations can be made for up to 3 nights from August 9-23, 2013. The rate is $45/night per student. Learn more.
