New Student Orientation
Please view the descriptions of each orientation program below to determine which meets your situation and needs.
Spring Orientation 2010
Who: All full-time students (anyone registered for more than 9 credit hours)
What: A comprehensive program that allows new students to:
- Meet faculty members and fellow graduate students in your academic department
- Learn about graduate student life on campus
- Meet members of the Graduate Student Association and learn how you can get involved
- Tour IIT's historic Main Campus

One Stop Orientation and Registration Event
Who: All part-time students (anyone registered for fewer than 9 credit hours)
What: A two-hour evening program where you can:
- Speak with graduate admission representatives
- Meet with an academic advisor (you may be able to register for classes after doing so)
- Discuss funding options with financial aid advisors
- Purchase textbooks and parking permits
- Obtain your Hawkcard (your all-purpose college ID)
- Tour IIT's historic Main Campus
