Family Orientation Information 2009-10
Spring Orientation
Due to higher numbers of transfer students in the spring we do not offer a specific family track during orientation. If you would like any information specific to parents/families and/or IIT please contact orientation@iit.edu or 312.567.3080.
Summer Orientation
Families of new IIT students are invited and encouraged to attend New Student Orientation. During summer orientation sessions a "parent/ family track" is offered for parents/family members to meet the IIT administration while students participate in the "student track".
There is a $50/person orientation fee. Limited on campus over-night accommodations are offered for an additional per person/night fee.
Families experiencing financial hardship should contact Katie Murphy-Stetz at 312.567.3080.
In addition to the Family Orientation programs, IIT offers various resources for parents and families. Learn more about the IIT Parent Network and join the Network now. Registration information will also be available during orientation.
