Clinical Psychology Program - Scholarships and Funding

Through IIT's partnership with Chicago Public Schools, most students receive an assistantship covering partial tuition in your first year (contingent on contract renewal). This assistantship involves screening young children for gifted placement, allowing you to gain valuable psychometric testing experience. After the first year, you can apply for a teaching assistantship. TA's receive partial tuition reimbursement and a monthly stipend, along with teaching experience.

You may also find funding through faculty grants and part-time work. These jobs are almost always psychology related, allowing you to obtain additional training similar to a research assistantship.
