Parents, Teachers, and Counselors
Please, send us your best and your brightest!We welcome psychology majors at IIT. Psychology is one the nations' most popular college majors. Consequently, most students interested in psychology enroll in schools that have large classes, generic academic programming and a liberal arts focus. We are in a technological university and our students are stronger: they are computationally competent, critical thinkers, and excellent problem solvers. We offer research opportunities and require interdisciplinary learning projects. We emphasize graduate training in the professions and our undergraduates benefit from this because our faculty who teach in nationally ranked graduate programs also teach our undergraduates.
We seek partners and forward thinking high school counselors, teachers, and parents to help us identify those who should be in our incoming class and who know that our best hope for the future rests with students who can apply knowledge about human behavior to the most challenging of our world problems.
