Collaborative Research
The faculty of the Institute of Psychology collaborate with other prominent researchers on campus, in Chicago, across the U.S., and abroad. A few examples include:- Dr. Joyce Hopkins is a coinvestigator with Dr. John Lavigne at Children's Memorial Hospital on a federally funded project that investigates risk factors of infant development
- Drs. Corrigan and Lam collaborate with investigators in China on factors related to disability and stigma
- Dr. Bach works with Dr. Steve Hays in Nevada on developing Acceptance and Commitment Therapies
- Drs. Young and Sher regularly collaborate with investigators at Rush University on mood and couples health research
- Dr. Mitchell works with Chicago Kent's Lori Andrews, JD on human issues in emerging technologies
- Drs. Fisher and Mead work with industry on matters of test security
