BCPS Chemistry Division Announces 2009 - 2010 Kilpatrick Scholarship Recipients

The faculty members of the BCPS Chemistry division are pleased to announce the winners of the 2009 - 2010 Kilpatrick Scholarships. An endowed scholarship program, the Kilpatrick Scholarships were established by Martin and Mary Kilpatrick, former IIT chemistry faculty members who served the university from 1947 - 1960. The Kilpatrick's devoted their lives to the critical and creative study of chemistry, particularly chemical kinetics, acid-based reactions, and electrolyte chemistry. Kilpatrick Scholarships are awarded to students majoring in chemistry that have distinguished themselves academically and professionally.

Brian Albee - 4th year undergraduate

Ryan Adam McClure - 3rd year undergraduate

Colin Johnston - 2nd year undergraduate
