TouchNet/PayPath Phase II: Payment Plans, Electronic Billing, Automatic Refunds, and Deposits (User Guides Available)

The first phase of the Touchnet/Paypath student account payment system rolled out in early November, providing greater security and protection from identity theft, the ability to authorize other users to view and make payments toward your account, the ability to schedule future payments, and email and text messaging alerts. Phase II will go live this week, completing the integration of the payment system and offering students several new options for managing their accounts:

Payment Plans - Students will have the opportunity to enroll and manage payment plans online. The system is available 24-hours a day, and automatically updates the plan based on recent account activity. As with Phase I, students can schedule payments and will receive email notifications.

Ebills - Electronic billing statements will be sent via email by Touchnet. Students will have the opportunity to have bills sent to an alternate email if you choose. Students will be able to view up to the last twelve billing statements.

Refunds - Students can elect to have their refunds automatically deposited into a checking and/or savings account. This feature allows students to receive faster refunds and prevents you from having to wait in lines to receive your refund check.

Deposits - Student will have the opportunity to pay tuition and room reservations online utilizing the TouchNet bill and payment suite. Deposits payments will not be assessed the 2.75% convenience fee, and students will be able to use Visa card to make this payment.

All account features are managed through the Touchnet bill and payment suite in the myIIT portal, accessible through the "My Account" channel in the "Finances" tab. Contact bursar@iit.edu with any questions.
