    RET Workshop (1 week)

    During the RET Workshop, the Corps of Educators present their educational modules created during their 6-week research experience.

    Teacher attendees are provided a $300 stipend for attending the workshop.

    Teacher attendees are divided into groups and explore at least one of the modules in greater detail.

    Students attend for two days for a test run of the module implementations. Teacher attendees assist in the delivery of the module.

    Sessions on the "inquiry" method of teaching science and incorporating ethics into the classroom are also held.

    After the workshop, attendees that implement one of the modules in their classroom during the following school year and report the results to IIT receeive a $300 bonus.
