IIT Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)

IIT has established an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) in response to the need of faculty members to conduct studies on animal subjects. The committee will ensure that federal rules and regulations regarding animal housing and care are followed.

Any faculty member who plans to conduct research on any animal subjects must first obtain approval from the IACUC. If you have any questions about this committee, or how it may relate to research you are currently performing or expecting to perform in the future, please contact the IACUC Executive Officer or the IACUC Committee Chair, at iacuc@iit.edu.
