FREE Two Day - Science & Engineering Workshop
For 6 weeks over the summer Chicago and suburban teachers have created educational modules based on IIT research for use in their classrooms. During the science and engineering workshop, the teachers will implement parts of their modules to middle and high school students in a simulated classroom environment. Each module consists of an engineering design project and incorporates the scientific inquiry method of teaching as well as an ethics component.
IIT's RET Site grant has ended. We have submitted a new proposal for a second 3-year grant. If funded we will continue to offer this program.
