Module Abstract
Problem-based learning is used to relate IIT research on transport in diabetic tissue to the mechanics of diffusion, the Maillard reaction and the effects of cross linking, and molecular size in tissue transport. As students explore these topics, they will also discover the different processes involved in scientific inquiry and witness the nature of science.Module Material
