To purchase the student health insurance plan during the Summer, please click here. The deadline to enroll is 6/1.
Immunization Form
The deadline to submit your immunizations is 9/1/13. To obtain the Immunization Verification Form or to view the Immunization Requirements as defined by IL State Law, please click on the Immunization link on the left of this screen. A registration hold will be placed on your account if you fail to comply.

Insurance Card
Your health insurance card for the Spring semester will be mailed out directly from Aetna to your local address provided to IIT as long as you update it before 2/1. To access your temporary insurance card, log on to www.aetnanavigator.com .

As a student of IIT, you are entitled to a wide variety of programs and services. Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) is a primary care facility that is sensitive to diversity. You may make an appointment to see one of our Nurse Practitioners and/or physician as many times per semester as needed, with no office visit charge.
Some services require a minimum fee, but these charges are generally much lower than comparable services provided elsewhere. In order to service our students most efficiently, we ask that you make an appointment to see either the NPs or the physician.
You may also access educational / printed materials provided by the SHWC. These materials are designed to help you make informed decisions regarding your health.
No Show Policy:
A “No Show” is defined as missing an appointment without canceling at least 2 hours before the scheduled time.
- First “No Show” will be noted.
- Second “No Show” will result in a $10 fee!
