Illinois Institute of Technology expects each student to be informed about university regulations and academic requirements as published in this handbook, in the IIT bulletins, and in other publications and announcements distributed to students from time to time. The advisory system assists students in pursuing programs of study so that all requirements may be successfully met and will provide counsel as requested in academic and other matters. It is, however, the individual student who has final responsibility for fulfilling the requirements of the program leading to the degree being sought and for abiding by IIT regulations.IIT reserves the right to review and modify these regulations and requirements at any time.
