    Greek Life

Greek organizations have been a part of the campus for more than 100 years, dating back to shortly after Armour Institute was founded. "Going Greek" remains a popular option for many students at Illinois Tech.

Membership provides opportunities for leadership development, scholastic achievement and life-long friendships. We encourage all IIT students to learn more about the opportunity of membership in a fraternity or sorority.

IIT's Greek community will engage in the formal recruitment process August 22 - September 5, 2009.  During these two weeks, our ten fraternities and sororities will host various events and programs to get to know prospective members.  We encourage you to get out and see what Greek Life is all about.  After all,  meeting people and doing fun stuff is a big part of college, even if you never imagined joining a fraternity or sorority!  Check out the recruitment schedule and brochure to learn more about our community. Come back often for updates, and we'll see you in August!

Leave an Impression... Go Greek at IIT!
