Why Study Abroad?

You have probably already heard from friends and other IIT students about the life-altering experience of their study abroad program.  It is never too early to start thinking about your own study abroad experience and to start planning for it.  

However, the decision to study abroad should not be taken lightly.  It is important to make the decision with a clear idea of the benefits to you personally and every individual student will have a different set of priorities against which these benefits can be measured.  

Within these pages are some of the reasons that we (and the students we send) believe that studying abroad is an extremely worthwhile addition to your education, and should be at least considered by all!
