- TechAdvantage@IIT provides services to underrepresented and women-owned businesses that leverage technology to improve operations or develop new products or services.
- Applications to TechAdvantage@IIT are currently being accepted.
- Applicants must be located within the TechAdvantage@IIT service area, which extends through the Southside of Chicago; the northern boundary of the area is 18th Street, the southern boundary is 95th street, the eastern boundary is the Lakefront and the western boundary is Ashland Ave.
Selection Criteria for TechAdvantage@IIT
The following criteria will be used to select businesses to participate in TechAdvantage@IIT:
- A viable and feasible business plan and implementation strategy
- Potential to increase revenue
- Potential for retaining and/or creating jobs and career opportunities for residents in the service area
- Potential impact on commerce with businesses in service area
