Elmhurst College- Joint Program Agreement
Students in the joint engineering program must choose one course from each of the following catagories. Approved Elmhurst General Education courses may be found in the Undergraduate Bulletin. At least 2 courses must be at the 300+ level.
A student must complete at least 21 semester hours to fulfill the IIT Humanities and Social Sciences Requirement excluding courses listed in the areas of Inquiry and Issues in Science and Technology, The Natural World and the following: ART 115, 120, 125, 230, 235, 240; COM 114, 226, 321; FRN 102; GRM 102; ITL 102; SPN 102 or MUS 135, 312.
- Fine Arts - A student may complete any course listed excluding ART 115, 120, 125, 230, 235, 240, COM 226, MUS 135 or 312.
- Global Society - A student may complete any course listed excluding FRN 102, GRM 102, SPN 102.
- Human Behavior - A student may complete any course listed excluding COM 114, 312.
- Inquiry and Issues in Science and Technology - This requirement is met by completing PHY 122.
- Judeo Christian Heritage and Religious Faith - A student may complete any course listed.
- Literature - A student may complete any course listed.
- The Natural World - This requirement is met by completing PHY 121.
- People, Power, Politics - A student may complete any course listed.
- The Search for Human Values - A student may complete any course listed.
- Western Culture - A student may complete any course listed.
- 11. Writing and Reasoning - A student may complete either PHL 106 or ENG 106.
