Note 1) PHYS 231, 232, 333 (WC) = PHYS 123, 221, 224 (IIT). Note 2) Students who have not completed two years (through level 2) of language in high school must complete 12 hours (3 courses) of foreign language. Note 3) PHYS 334 (WC) includes MATLAB programming. Note 4) See Humanities and Social Sciences requirements for Wheaton College. Note 5)Students may substitute MATH 331 and 333 (WC) for PHYS 321 and 322 (WC). Note 6) PHYS 335 (WC) includes engineering ethics. Note 7) Students may choose IIT BIOL 107, IIT BIOL 115, IIT CHEM 126, WC CHEM 237, IIT MS 101. Note 8) Interprofessional projects may be taken at any time during the 3rd, 4th, or 5th years. Course scheduling must be adjusted accordingly with advisor approval. Note 9) Professional electives may be chosen from the 400-level ECE courses identified with a (P) in the IIT course descriptions. At least two professional electives must contain laboratories. A maximum of 3 credits of Undergraduate Research (ECE 491) or Special Problems (ECE 497) may be used as a professional elective with advisor approval. Note 10) Advisor-approved courses from engineering, science, mathematics, or computer science. Note 11) Consult your academic advisor at Wheaton College regarding the completion of approved courses in a summer term to reduce your academic load in the fall or spring term or the completion of courses in terms other than those suggested on this program.
