I. GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM - Please consult the General Education section of the current IIT Bulletin for complete requirements.
- Basic Writing Proficiency - Students must show basic writing proficiency by receiving a satisfactory score on the Writing Proficiency Examination or by passing an English Composition course.
- Humanities - Choose one course from the following: ENG 211, 215, 216, 220, 221, 225; HIS 103, 104, 105, 106, 190; HUM 150, 151; or PHI 125, 126, 180, 201.
- Social Sciences - Choose one course from the following: ANT 101, 102; GEG 105, 115, 125; HIS 180; HUM 181; POL 201, 202; PSY 101, 104, 201, 202, 205, 210, 211, 215; SSC 101, 102, 140; or SOC 100, 101, 102, 201, 220.
- Choose one course from section B or section C from the following: ART 120, 125, 126, 127, 217, 220; ENG 218; HIS 140; HUM 153, 154; MUS 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109; or SPE 108, 110.
- Science Electives for Business Administration majors - A minimum of thirteen (13) credit hours is required to fulfill this requirement. Choose from the following to total 13 credit hours: BIO 102, 103, 104, 106, 110, 111, 202; CHM 100, 101, 102, 105, 106; PHY 101, 102, 105, 205, 206.
