Joint Programs
Overview
Joint programs are for students enrolled at a partner college or university and will be pursuing a dual degree with IIT. Joint programs differ from a 3+2 transfer program in that students earn two degrees: Upon completion of the program, which normally takes five years, the student receives a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from IIT and a bachelor's degree in an approved discipline from one of the following schools:
- DePaul University
- Wheaton College
- Benedictine University
- Elmhurst College
- Dominican University
- Lewis University
Students enrolled in this program can participate in student activities and use all available facilities at both institutions. Residency requirements depend on each individual institution. Students wishing to complete the joint program must complete the following admission process prior to enrolling at IIT.
- Be admitted to partner institutions and meet with advisors.
- Submit completed application for admission.
- Submit official transcripts from partner institutions.
