Leadership Edge Scholarship
The Leadership Edge Scholarship is a full-tuition, four-year undergraduate scholarship awarded to remarkable freshman business students. This prestigious award encourages exceptional business achievement as students pursue their business studies.
The Leadership Edge Scholarship seeks incoming students with demonstrated academic achievement and leadership potential who will be challenged by the IIT curriculum to pursue a professional commitment to excellence in business.
How to become a Leadership Edge Scholar
Leadership Edge Scholarship candidates must apply to IIT and must submit the following to the Office of Undergraduate Admission to the address below:
- One-page essay explaining your goals in the areas of business and/or entrepreneurship
- Letter of recommendation for the Leadership Edge Scholarship, written with knowledge of candidate's creativity and leadership potential
Selection will be made by a distinguished review board, representing the educational leadership of IIT and the faculty at the Stuart School of Business.
Eligibility Requirements
candidates competing for the scholarship must satisfy very high selection standards. Open only to incoming freshmen who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, the scholarship has been awarded to candidates who demonstrate the following strengths:
- Graduation in the top 10% of their graduating class
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Involvement in extracurricular activities, demonstrating leadership and independence
