2008 High Performance Institute
The Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS) welcomes you to the IIT community! The OMSS serves as the primary office of advocacy for under-represented domestic students of color, women and gay/lesbian students, offering educational and social programming aimed at personal development, retention and success of its students.
One of the OMSS's initiatives to drive excellence is the High Performance Institute (HiPI). HiPI is an on-campus program that teaches critical study strategies, provides supplemental resources, and fosters relationships that are fundamental to academic success as a first-year student at IIT. We have two HiPI events planned for before the start of the academic year to help you get acclimated to college life. These events will give you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) the opportunity to meet and speak with IIT faculty, OMSS staff, fellow IIT students, and IIT alumni/alumnae.

Program Dates
The first event takes place on IIT's Main Campus, beginning at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2008. The general schedule of events is as follows:

| 6:30 pm | Alumni BOG Night (Hermann Hall) |
The second event is the HiPI Mosaic Weekend on August 15 - 17, 2008.
