To help better serve you and your students, and to meet the changing demands of students today, we have made a few important changes to our admission process.
Departmental Poster Program
Our academic departments have developed the following posters for high school and community college teachers, counselors and instructors. Please let us know which one(s) you would like for your classroom or office by emailing Connie Calace at calace@iit.edu with "Posters" in the subject line.

Architecture
Students interested in our College of Architecture will now have two deadlines to submit their application. All other academic programs remain on a rolling admission basis, though many of our scholarship opportunities require applications be completed by a certain deadline.
Architecture students should submit their completed application and support materials (transcript(s), recommendations, etc.) by November 15 for a mid-December decision or January 15 for a mid-February decision. Students should continue to submit their applications as early as possible to ensure all materials arrive by the desired deadline.
Camras Scholars Program
Our most selective program, the Camras Scholars Program, now requires that students submit their applications by January 2 and have their files completed by January 9. Those students whose academic, social, extracurricular, and leadership achievements place them in approximately the top 5% of all applicants will be invited to attend Interview Weekend on February 21-22. More information about the program will be sent out to Camras Scholar nominees in late January.
Admission Counselors
Your admission counselor is assigned to your area and will be your primary contact to IIT throughout the year. You can find your admission counselor by looking up your area under on our Contact page. For those areas with multiple counselors, feel free to contact any one of them, and they will direct you to the correct person.
Academic Programs
A broad range of academic programs is available to your students. From engineering and architecture to business, communications, and psychology, IIT offers over 25 different majors and close to 100 minors and special programs. Special Programs
In addition to our core academic programs, we offer many special dual admission and accelerated completion programs. Some of these can be found with our Colleges & Institutes, and others are found in our Undergraduate Bulletin [PDF], beginning on page 134.
Applications
Students who would like to apply to IIT should use our online application. Depending on their application, they may be required to submit one or more recommendations, an academic evaluation by a counselor, and an official transcript or transcripts. All forms and instructions are available online, and completed documents should be mailed to the following address:

Visiting Campus
We encourage all students to visit IIT, and we welcome all teachers and counselors who are interested in learning more about us as well. We take online request for individual visits as well as group visits if you would like to bring a group of students or colleagues to our campus.
