UTEC - The Usability Testing and Evaluation Center
The Usability Testing and Evaluation Center (UTEC) is a not-for-profit, academic-supported, business-consulting unit.
UTEC is currently focused on helping students at IIT learn more about the usability profession. If you are a company or organization interested in usability research and testing services, please visit www.thinkaloudux.com. Think Aloud UX was started by two former UTEC trainees and currently researches and tests the usability of websites, interfaces, and apps for clients in the Chicago area and nationwide. Think Aloud UX also provides seminars on how regular usability testing can improve the quality of designs and makes good business sense.
Established in 1999 at Illinois Institute of Technology, the center offers clients impartial, realistic and effective usability tests, design recommendations, and educational seminars. State-of-the-art facilities and an experienced team have helped many international, national, and local clients understand their design processes from a user's perspective.
