Speaker: Dr. Rahul Garg, Project Manager, IBM-IRL

Abstract: IBM India Research Lab, one of eight research Labs within the IBM Research organization, is situated on the IIT Campus in New Delhi. It is one of the few in India, dedicated to research and achieving breakthrough advances in Information Technology.
The researchers at IBM India Research have been working on technologies such as adaptive electronic commerce systems, distributed computing, software engineering, structured and unstructured information management, high performance computing, as well as building advanced solutions in the areas of e-governance, and mobile telephony.
Dr. Garg will present an overview of some of these in this talk. This will be of interest to many especially graduate students from India and others looking for work in India, or even just those who want to keep up with research and technological developments around the world. Attendance is free. This event is on campus, so don't miss it.
