On Wednesday November 12 in SB 113 from 12:00 - 1:00 we will have a guest speaker from Teaming for Technology Chicago.  They are looking for people with experience in networking, databases, or web design.  This is a great opportunity to gain valuable real world experience working on IT projects and to help your the community at the same time.

  

Teaming for Technology aims to bridge the digital divide in the Greater Chicago Metropolitan area. Founded and sponsored by a collaboration of IBM, United Way and the Corporation for National and Community Service, this initiative accepts numerous non-profit agencies primarily serving under-resourced communities within the city to receive technology assistance semi-annually.

Teaming for Technology offers complete technological solutions for the community at no cost to its partner agencies. These agencies represent a constituency-- varied in age, gender, ethnicity, education, nationality, and location-- impacted by the digital divide. Teaming for Technology empowers its agencies with the know-how, resources, and processes to sustain their own technology goals.
