Revealed by Magnetism: The Invisible Troy

Digging behind the myth: even under the fields, the magnetometer can still detect the lower city of Troy VI with its defensive ring (red). The map also shows the streets of Roman Ilion (blue) and the citadel excaveted by Schillmann

[IMAGE][magnetometer image] Roman streets and the defensive ditch of Troy VI (red) show up clearly on the magnetometer images.

P.S. It was imposile to load the whole image of magnetism results. I took two small part of the image and put on this pages. The last images scaned black and white, therefore the red line isn't visible.
