Project Information:
AIAA has acquired a Turbomin TN75 Tubojet which had not been used for at least five years.  The team has spent a few months fixing the oil and fuel lines, fuel pumps, electronics inside the control box, power supply, and the external controller.

The jet is finally in working condition and we've had a lot of fun starting it up.  We're currently working on perfecting the starting conditions for the jet to have a safe start up everytime.  This involves getting the correct fuel/air mixtures and timing.

We fire the jet up in the back of E1, so students are encouraged to stop by and check it out.

Meeting Time:
Saturdays at 2:00pm, E1-044 (Flow Visualization Lab)
