Faisal Akkawi is an adjunct faculty at Northwestern University and a lecturer at Illinois Institute of Technology. Upon graduating with a master degree in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1990, he spent eight years working in the industry. Subsequently he earned a master degree in computer science, with a focus on developing a framework that achieves separation of concerns in software.
