ABOUT ME:

I did my schoolings partly in Tindivanam and partly in Chennai. I got my higher secondary degree from Vidya Vinaya Vinoda Higher Secondary School, Besant Nagar, Chennai on completion of my 12th standard. After 4 yrs, I graduated from 'College of Technology, GCT Campus' Coimbatore, earning a First Class degree with Distinction in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.

Then I was part of "HCL Technologies Ltd", India, which has an offshore development center for "Cisco Systems". I was a member technical staff from the period of Aug 2000 to July 2001. My primary work was to test/automate the IOS (Internetwork Operating Systems) images, which runs on the 7200 and 10000 series Cisco Cable routers. I also worked as a Co-op student in the Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) Division in Argonne National Laboratory from September 2002 till July 2003.

I graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology, after finishing my Masters in Computer Science with Networking as specialization.

My Dad Dr. S. Ananthan is a Reader in Chemistry, in Presidency College in Chennai. He finished his Ph.D in IIT, Chennai and did his post doctorate in Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Mom, Mrs. Padmini Ananthan is a B.Sc and B,Ed graduate - is a housewife, expert in Cooking. To tell the truth, my sis and I were educated through our parents more than what we obtained from the schools. My sis, Lallu, joined Anna University recently. She is doing her Bachelors in Industrial Bio-Technology.
