is this a new attempt to reinvent the fast walking lane as proposed on the world exhibition of 1889 at paris. it was a vision for the 20th century but the only location to find it still is the airport. so it was not very successful but nevertheless it changes our spatial perception. it could be part of an idea on speed and the city.

something that characterizes contemporary world enterprises is their presence - they are everywhere, they seem to exist as a lightspeed-structure - omnipresent, extremely flexible and finally not physically present but only as marketing strategy.

the frozen moment - speed does not exist anymore, everything seems to be out of motion. nevertheless we see the motion in the image - we are able to recognize the breaking of physical rules - what are the physical rules in the future? are there physical rules on the internet?

where are we neither here nor there - on stand-by!
it's like waiting for 5 hours - a phenomenon of speed: waiting!
