Generate 2 cross sections through your space from your 3dimensional model. You may use either 3dStudio Viz/Max or AutoCAD to do this. Please note that the section + slice tools in AutoCAD will only work on solids so if you are interested in using this method you will need to create solid versions of your surface objects where you are sectioning (i.e. floor, ceiling, wall -- !but only where you are sectioning!)

After you have cut the sections, incorporate them into your page layouts and complete the drawing. If you have not drawn the elevations which correspond to the sectional view add that information to the section or move it from a previous drawing. Key the wall section you previously drew in the new cross section. <<syllabus
