The name of the conference, as you know from the above title, is Blazon: the Youth, the Campus, and the Five Year Plan! Please check back here for any updates which will be marked below. The weekend will consist of lectures, workshops and artistic performances. Some of the goals of the conference will be on strengthening campus organizations in productivity and efficiency. HOUSING We are in the process of making housing arrangements for participants who are visiting from outside Chicago. These housing arrangements are with members of the Chicago community who have offered to be hosts for the weekend of the conference. Once these spaces are filled, participants must arrange for their housing. Please contact us and we will help you in any way possible. One of the suggested options is Hostelling International, Chicago. The hostel is in downtown Chicago and is only 10 minutes away from the conference location. The prices will be $30.25 per person per night, and $34.50 for the same with breakfast. Rooms have 6 or 10 beds. We do not expect any participant to stay in a hotel and we will be trying our best to accommodate everyone. The hostel/hotel options are backup resources. |
