Master of Analytical Chemistry - Program of Study
Degree Requirements
Students must successfully complete a minimum of 32 credit hours of
coursework as listed below, earning a "C"
or higher in each course while maintaining a minimum grade point average of
3.0/4.0 ("B" average). Courses for which students have received a failing
grade, "E", do not count toward degree fulfillment and must be repeated.
To earn the degree, students must pass a comprehensive exam. Students
are eligible to take this exam once 11 out of 12 courses have been
successfully completed, or upon the recommendation of his/her advisor. A
written exam will be offered every fall and an oral exam (on campus)
will be offered every spring.
