Master of Health Physics - Programs of Study
Master of Health Physics Degree
The Master of Health Physics program is designed to be completed in two
calendar years of study. Students may start the program either in August or
January.
Students must successfully complete ("C" or higher) the 30 credit hours of
courses listed below while maintaining a minimum grade point average of
3.0/4.0 ("B" average).
Passing a
comprehensive
examination is required after the course sequence is completed. This
requirement is waived if the student passes Part I or Part II
of the American Board of Health Physics Certification Examination during the
course of the program.
List of Courses (30 credit hours minimum)
Certificate Program in Radiological Physics
The certificate program is intended for students who wish to refresh
their knowledge of specific subjects and for those who wish to take
courses for Continuing Education Credit (CEC) from the
American Academy of Health Physics.
Students must successfully complete ("C" or higher) at least 12 semester
credit hours from the courses listed below while maintaining a minimum grade
point average of 3.0/4.0 ("B" average).
