Master of Biology - Programs of Study
Master of Biology Degree
The Master of Biology program is designed to be completed in two
calendar years of study. Students may start the program either in August or
January.
Students must successfully complete ("C" or higher) the 30-31 credit hours of
courses listed below while maintaining a minimum grade point average of
3.0/4.0 ("B" average).
To earn the degree, students must pass a comprehensive exam. Students are
eligible to take this exam once the majority of their coursework has been
successfully completed. Degree candidates may be required to come to IIT's
main campus in Chicago for the exam.
All students are required to take:
Communication in the Workplace,
Statistics and either
Business Principles or
Intellectual Property Management plus the following
courses in their chosen area of specialization.
