Master of Materials and Chemical Synthesis - Admissions Requirements


A bachelor's degree, ideally in sciences or engineering, with a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 from an accredited U.S. educational institution is required for domestic students. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for International students, those with an undergraduate GPA between 2.5 and 3.0, or at the request of the admissions committee.

Prerequisites

  • 2 semesters of calculus
  • 2 semesters of organic chemistry

  • Certificate in Synthesis and Characterization of Inorganic Materials
  • Certificate in Synthesis and Characterization of Organic Materials
