The Bronzeville IPRO
Stimulating Economic Development in Bronzeville

The Bronzeville IPRO is a student research project whose goal is to identify the current state of economic development in the Bronzeville region of Chicago, and to identify specific opportunities for its further economic development.
The project was sponsored by the MacArthur Foundation and undertaken by students at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Our focus this semester was in designing and planning for a Bronzeville business incubator. We performed intensive investigation of the Overton Building as a possible site for the incubator.
We also planned a Concept Block, a city block to be used for the incubator as well as local services.
