As the Director of Global Operations, Mr. Goldberg has responsibility for global quality, global supply chain management, and special initiatives. He also has P&L responsibility as the President of the Kaan Division, a contract manufacturing facility located in Chicago. Mr. Goldberg came to Atlas in 1978 as a member of the Kaan business. Prior to his current position, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the company’s equipment business. He has been a member of the corporate steering committee since its inception in 1995. Mr. Goldberg maintains an active involvement with business and higher education. He serves on the advisory board of the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Industrial Technology and Management program, is treasurer of the Tooling and Manufacturing Association Education Foundation Trust, and is also the current president of the Ravenswood Industrial Council. After completing his formal machinist apprenticeship in 1972, Mr. Goldberg earned a BA from Northeastern Illinois University. He is a contributor and reference source for various publications, including Tooling and Manufacturing Magazine, Crain’s Chicago Business, The Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing, the Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun-Times.
