1. A ten point quiz will be given on Tuesday of most weeks. The lowest quiz grade will be disregarded in arriving at the total quiz grade. 2. Homework will be collected at start of class on Tuesday and will be checked and returned. 3. There will be no make up quizzes or exams. If an examination is missed for an acceptable reason, the final grade will be prorated to obtain a score for the exam. 5. In preparing for quizzes and exams the instructor will draw questions from lecture notes and from problems at the end of the chapter. Serious attention to problem solving generally shows up in better performances on quizzes and exams. 5. Dr. Johnson's office hours in Room 298 LS are from 2-4pm, Tuesday and Thursday or by appointment (after class is usually ok).
