Graduate Student Advisor to the chemistry graduate students in the department.

Professional Master’s Program Advisor to all the students in Materials and Chemical Synthesis (MCS) Program.

Faculty Advisor to Students Societies: I have been Advisor to Student Affiliates Chapter of the American Chemical Society at IIT.

Research Advisor to 24 students (five PhD’s, nine Master’s, and ten BS), including four minority students, who have received education and training in some of the fascinating areas of contemporary research in my research group.

Graduate research supervision led to the completion of two Ph.D. degrees, (a third Ph.D. Thesis is at the final stage), and four Master’s degrees.

Undergraduate research projects supervision led to three publications in peer-reviewed journals and two presentations at professional conferences.

Current Research Group Consists of ten students. A College Chemistry Faculty Member will also join my group in near future.

Among my former research students, three are on tenure-track academic positions, one is a postdoc, and others are in industry.
