Thomas Cottenier is a PhD student at the Computer Science department of the
Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA. After graduating form
his Ingénieur Civil degree in telecommunications, from the Université Libre
de Bruxelles ( ULB ), Brussels, Belgium, Thomas had the opportunity to pursue a MS
in Computer Engineering at IIT with a fellowship from the Belgian American
Educational Foundation ( BAEF ). Thomas' current interests are distributed systems,
concurrent programming, software engineering and embedded & real-time
systems. Thomas is a member of the Concurrent Programming Research Group,
and is currently in the development process of an aspect-oriented distributed composition platform that targets highly dynamic
service-oriented environments.
