Welcome to the IIT/CPS
Bronzeville Computer Scholars Camp!
Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Chicago Public Schools (CPS)
are supporting this Computer Scholars Camp to prepare students to
be successful contributors to their community. The camp introduces
computer skills in word processing, internet use, presentation and
web page design. The camp meets of three hours a day for three weeks.
It is fun but structured way for students to spend some of their
summer vacation preparing to use technology in their classes, and
gaining some university campus experience.
Students will use their
word processing, presentation and internet search skills to build
a team and individual web page. Some of the team web pages are posted
on the internet as examples of what students can do with technology
skills.
