Here is Cedric the Entertainer on Comic View's Grand Stand.

Here is Cedric with the rest of the cast of the Steve Harvey Show.

Cedric The Entertainer began his career in comedy by competing in the "Johnny Walker National Comedy Contest" in Chicago, Illinois. That performance led to other weekly performances in comedy clubs in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri--including the nationally acclaimed Funny Bone Comedy Clubs. It wasn't long before Cedric returned to Chicago to take 1st place in "The Miller Genuine Draft Comedy Search." His career has continued to gain momentum as he tours across the country, headlining in major concert events.

Cedric's unique style of humor is appealing to a wide variety of audiences. His material is taken from  observations of everyday life. He avoids profanity and vulgarity and specializes in reminiscing about the good ole' days. His style of comedy is much better than most, due to how clean it is. It is this "homemade" brand of humor which has lead to numerous television appearances including: Showtime at the Apollo, HBO Def Comedy Jam, Uptown Comedy Hour, and BET Comicview.

In 1994, Cedric received the "Richard Pryor Comic of the Year Award" from Black Entertainment Television, and became host of Comicview for the 1994-95 season. Television audiences can look for Cedric Sunday nights this fall on the Warner Brothers network. He will co-star in the new situation comedy, "The Steve Harvey Show."
