Want to work on the TV show?
At Community TV Network (CTVN), we want to teach you basic video skills ranging from how to use equipment (cameras, mics, editing equipment) to how to effectively tell a story. Using the skills you learn, we expect you to produce thoughtful programming for our cable TV show, Hard Cover.
At Community TV Network, you are required to make original videos. Responsiblities for the job include
all the work involved during the three stages of putting a short documentary piece together.

Pre-Production Responsiblities
1. Breakdown/Outline of Project
2. Research
3. Scheduling of interviews, tentative schedule of production dates
4. Writing text for Video

Production
1. Shooting
2. Lighting and Sound set-ups

Post-Production
1. Paper Edit
2. Video Edit
3. Sound Design

General Responsiblities include:
1. Being on time and signing in and out
2. Maintaining an organized and clean work enviornment
3. Journal Writing
4. Participation in group discussion of movies, TV, Documentaries, newspaper articles and other media
5. Meet Production Deadlines
6. Participation in planning premiere screening of your video

Collaboration plays a big role in video productioin and all employees are expected to participate in group projects, providing technical, creative and moral support.
