I know you're there
because I see you
I see you looking at me
why are you looking at me?
Is it because you like me?
Or is it because I like you
so I think you're looking at me?
 
Then you smile
Are you smiling at me?
Or are you just smiling?
If you like me then just tell me
If you tell me then I'll smile forever
 
Then you lick your lips
Are you licking your lips because you want to kiss me?
Or are you licking your lips because your lips are dry?
I'll kiss you if you want me to
but if you don't want me to then don't lick your lips
 
I wish I knew what you were thinking
and I wish I knew what you wanted
but I don't
So you'll go on doing what you do
and I'll just sit here being totally confused
